“Artificial Intelligence and Sensitive Data: Challenges, Regulatory Solutions and the Protection of Fundamental Rights”

This event will explore the rapidly evolving legal and ethical debates surrounding the use of AI technologies that rely on biometric and health data—highlighting regulatory challenges, fundamental rights implications, and the impact of recent legal instruments such as the GDPR and the EU AI Act.
The organisers welcome interdisciplinary and comparative contributions on a range of topics, including facial recognition, emotion detection, predictive policing, healthcare technologies, and fundamental rights protection.
