Nauani is a Brazilian qualified lawyer with extensive experience in litigation, corporate law and legal research. Currently pursuing a European Master in Law, Data, and Artificial Intelligence (EMILDAI), she is specialised in the intersection of law and technology with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence Governance. Nauani is also a certified Privacy and Data Protection Specialist (CIPP/E) member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Meem is a postgraduate student and researcher based at Dublin City University and University of León, and a proud student of the second cohort of EMIlDAI. They saddle the two interlacing disciplines of data science and socio-legal research, and their previous research works have been published in Nature Scientific Communications and conferences of IEEE and ACM among others.
