Nauani Benevides
Nauani is a Brazilian qualified lawyer with extensive experience in litigation, corporate law and legal research. Currently pursuing a European Master in Law, Data, and Artificial Intelligence (EMILDAI), she is specialised in the intersection of law and technology with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence Governance. Nauani is also a certified Privacy and Data Protection Specialist (CIPP/E) member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). As an editor of the EMILDAI blog, she is dedicated to providing insightful commentary and analysis on the latest developments in these dynamic fields. Meem Arafat Manab
Meem is a postgraduate student and researcher based at Dublin City University and University of León, and a proud student of the second cohort of EMIlDAI. They saddle the two interlacing disciplines of data science and socio-legal research, and their previous research works have been published in Nature Scientific Communications and conferences of IEEE and ACM among others. Passionate about interdisciplinarity and intercultural exchanges and teeming with ideas, they have been working on entrepreneurial projects that focus on democratic engagement (KnowThyRep) and digital rights (Forgetme.info), and also on research in AI explainability and reliability.
